Heute bin ich über einen sehr interessanten Artikel bei Deutsche Startups gestolpert. Besonders inspirierend fand ich das Video dazu, welches oberhalb eingebunden ist.

Zwei Stefans (der eine aus Berlin, der andere aus Hamburg) wagen den Schritt in die Selbständigkeit und dokumentieren dies in Ihrem Blog und in Kooperation mit Deutsche Startups. Der Name des Projektes ist "bornintents" und das Ziel ist folgendes:

"wir wollten ein Produkt entwickeln, etwas Neues starten oder etwas Bestehendes besser machen. Wir wollten etwas machen, das für uns und hoffentlich auch für viele andere eine echte Innovation und Verbesserung darstellt. Etwas, bei dem man nicht lange erklären muss, was es kann und warum es wohl gut ist."

Sehr ambitioniert - und vor allem mutig, denn noch ist weder klar (zumindest mir nicht), was genau damit gemeint ist, noch ist klar, ob die beiden davon leben können. Sicher ist nur: sie wollen selbst bestimmen, wie ihr weiterer Lebensweg aussieht.

Der Name des Projekts stammt aus einem gemeinsamen Urlaubserlebnis mit einem gescheiterten Zeltaufbau im Dunkeln. Eine gute Metapher für den Start ins Ungewisse:

"Ok, den Alptraum können wir nicht nur auf das Zelt schieben; daran sind wir zu einem großen Teil selbst Schuld, wenn wir versuchen ein Zelt, das wir noch nie zuvor aufgebaut haben, im Dunkeln aufzubauen. Es ist nicht wirklich eine Wissenschaft, aber auch andere Zelt-Amateure wie wir haben sicherlich ähnliches zu berichten. Es ist kein Spaß."

Hoffentlich wird dieser neue Zeltaufbau der beiden besser und erfolgreicher verlaufen. Ich drücke die Daumen!

NACHTRAG (7.10.09):

Vielen Dank für Deinen Kommentar, Stefan. In der Tat habe ich im DS-Artikel überlesen, dass die Idee schon steht:

"Sie wollen der Outdoor-Gemeinde über das Internet individuell ausgestattete und designte Zelte liefern."

Da bin ich ja mal gespannt, ob sich die Zelte im Dunkeln nach einer langen Suf-Session auch schnell und einfach aufbauen lassen. Wenn ja, dann mache ich auf dem nächsten Trip zur Atlantikküste Werbung für euch :-)
