Live Nation startet Twitter "Scavenger Hunt"
Das Konzertkarten-Portal livenation.com hat heute eine "Scavenger Hunt" (-> Schipseljagd) auf Twitter gestartet. Die Nutzer des Instant-Messaging-Services sind aufgerufen, dem nationalen @livenation Account sowie auch einem regionalen Live Nation Twitter-Account zu folgen und nach Hinweisen zu fahnden, um das Live Nation Logo in der realen Welt an 3 verschiedenen Orten zu finden, zu fotogafieren und zu twittern. Dabei sind mindestens 5 verschiedene Tweets des Users nötig, die jeweils den Hashtag "#LNScavHunt" enthalten sollen. Damit ist Live Nation über mehrere Tage hinweg eine Platzierung in den Top Trending Topics auf Twitter im Grunde garantiert.
Meiner Meinung nach ist diese Schnipseljagd sehr erfolgsversprechend - nicht nur wegen der Chance auf die Top-Trends Platzierung, sondern besonders auch wegen des hohen User-Involvements durch die Wiederholung der Tweets und die Verknüpfung mit der realen Welt. Bisher wurden Hashtag-Trends eher durch schnelle Retweets mit dem Anzeiz eines Gewinns erzielt (siehe NameCheap's Twitter Trivia contest). Live Nations Ansatz hingegen setzt auf Interaktion und Repetition und bleibt somit besser beim einzelnen User hängen. Damit wird mehr die Qualität als die Quantität der Kontakte gefördert, wodurch die Chance der dauerhaften Werbewirkung sicherlich höher ist. Als Anreiz zur Teilnahme winken den glücklichen Gewinnern jeweils ein 2010 Saison-Pass für ein lokales Live Nation Konzert-Theater.
